I'm wearing a denim jacket from Woolworths, a floral dress from Edgars, brogues from Mr Price and bangles from Foshini. I made the earrings myself.

BEY preggers!!!?
The singer, who turns 30 in September, has finally gotten her wish.
Beyonce arrived on the red carpet last night (28 Aug) to announce to photographers that she had a surprise in store.
Bey is officially an idol. She had a career before she got married, got married, then got pregnant. *takes a bow*
I know I'm not the only one excited to see what "Destiny's Child" will look like.
FYI: Beyonce is wearing a bright orange Lavin gown, Rene Caovilla ivory platform heels with Swarovski crystal and pearl details.

Joel Osteen [on relationships]
"People enter relationships with set standards and expectations. When people do not meet the standards we set, we become disenchanted with the relationship, allowing disappointment and frustration to set in. It's easy to get along with people when everything is going great and others are acting exactly the way we want them to. But what happens when something goes wrong and our feelings get hurt? If you're not careful, you'll begin to focus on the unmet expectations which will affect your attitude, and ultimately, your relationship.
But it doesn't have to be that way if we will just learn to have realistic expectations and let people off the hook. We can avoid a lot of heartache by simply giving people room to be human. We have to accept the fact that nobody is perfect, and even the best people will fail us at times. We have to choose forgiveness because it is not up to anyone in our lives to keep us happy; that is our own responsibility. Too often, we want our mate to cheer us up when we are down; we expect our partner to always be loving and kind. We expect our boss to recognize our hard work and our friends to always be there for us. But those are unrealistic expectations. The perfect spouse does not exist, nor does the perfect boss, nor the perfect friend.
We would avoid a lot of disappointments by simply understanding that no matter how much we love people, no matter how much they love us, at some point, they won't live up to our expectations, or they will hurt our feelings in some way.
But when we get our eyes off their shortcomings and on to Jesus, we open the door for His grace and healing in our relationships. We open the door for love which is all that matters in eternity."

There has been lots of cars in my driveway and boys on my couch. I've toyed with bad boys, mamma's boys & country boys. Been broken by a few and broken a few myself. I've never said "I love you" and never had the need. I've been the rebound, the challenge, the fall back and the girlfriend. I've been the mistake & the correction. One day someone will love me for what I've been & what I am, where I've been & where I am; one day, someone will love me for me**
Star Style: Meagan Good
I've always thought Megan Good was gorgeous, but her new short haircut takes her look to a whole new level! The style is chic, crisp, and a definite departure from her super-long look of the past. I'm contemplating getting this cut in December. Watch this space!!

Just a random thought
I’ve always tried to live my life with the mentality of having no regrets, which has worked out pretty well for me, but there are days when I sometimes wonder if I should have done something differently. It’s usually whenever I am reflecting on relationships in my life, both with guys and with friends.
Sometimes, you just don’t know what people are like until they get too close and it’s too late to take anything back. And while I wouldn’t classify any of these musings as regrets per se, it definitely means there is a little bit of room for some of these doubts to creep into my mind.

[Dearest] Langalethu
Lethu.
We met at EQ 6 days after I got to Grahamstown as a first year. I liked you instantly, mostly because you had soo much positive energy around you and were such a happy and confident person.
I still can't believe you're gone. I wish I had more time to get to know you better because you're one of the most amazing and genuine people I've met in Grahamstown.
I cherished the beautiful sessions we had, although they might not have been enough. You were a good person and friend. I will miss your smile, your laughter and your enthusiasm. I will forever be honoured that I got a chance to meet you, and most of all, you will never be forgotten.
There's nothing that really comforts or heals the wounds, but having had the priviledge of knowing you has made my life far better than I ever had a right to expect and I'm closer to God all thanks to you.
I'll keep your family in my heart and in my prayers. Rest in Peace my dear friend, till we meet again. Love, Anna-Rosa

[Heavenly Father]
Heavenly Father, help us remember that the jerk who cut us off in
traffic last night is a single mother who worked nine hours that day
and is rushing home to cook dinner, help with homework, do the laundry
and spend a few precious moments with her children.
Help us to remember that the pierced, tattooed, disinterested young man who can't make change correctly is a worried 19-year-old college student, balancing his apprehension over final exams with his fear of not getting his student loans for next semester.
Remind us, Lord, that the scary looking bum, begging for money in the same spot every day is a slave to addictions that we can only imagine in our worst nightmares.
Help us to remember that the old couple walking annoyingly slow through the store aisles and blocking our shopping progress are savoring this moment, knowing that, based on the biopsy report she got back last week, this will be the last year that they go shopping together.
Heavenly Father, remind us each day that, of all the gifts you give us, the greatest gift is love.
It is not enough to share that love with those we hold dear. Open our hearts not to just those who are close to us, but to all humanity.
Let us be slow to judge and quick to love.

Mrs Knowles' "devil" red hair
I feel like Beyonce jacked Rihanna on her new hairdo, but I guess that's the new trend. Either way, they both look good in it. Thumbs up Bey!!!
"We wonder why black & white photos
capture our soul. I think it's because without
colour, we aren't drawn to make-up, or the colour
of our eyes, or our hair, or how tan our skin is.
Black & white captures the innocence on one's
face & their vulnerability. The glow comes from
the inside, brightening our eyes, our skin, and
smile. It grabs the truth that liberates us."

[Best] Friends.
It's the people you hug and never want to let go. The people who give you more than you give to them.
The people you can be "silly" around. It's those in your photographs with genuine light shining through their eyes and smile. The people you haven't seen in years, but haven't changed at all.
cry about. The ones you live for.
The people who take your breath away. These are my best friends and sisters. I love you.
